Heimtextil shaking up the hall layouts for 2026

FRANKFURT, GERMANY –Big changes are on the way next year as Heimtextil reworks the layout of its 2026 expo.

Smart Bedding – which includes bedding, blankets, pillows, mattresses, sleep systems, fibers and yarns – shifts out of Hall 11.0 and moves to Hall 4.0.

Bed Bath & Living, which had occupied two floors in Hall 12, will see its exhibitors moving to Halls 5.0, 5.1, 6.0 and 6.1. These halls will feature brands and private label suppliers of bed linens, bathroom textiles, table and kitchen linens, decorative pillows and home accessories.

Textile Design – which includes design studios and CAD/CAM suppliers – will move to Hall 6.1. The Heimtextil Trends presentation will also move into that hall.

Halls 11.0 and 12.0 will house machine-woven and hand-woven as well as hand-knotted carpets, unique items and floor mats. In addition, Hall 12.0 will host the new Flooring & Equipment segment, which includes elastic floor coverings, design floor coverings, cork, laminate, parquet and outdoor solutions.

The location of Global Home in Halls 8.0 and 9.1 and Global Home Excellence in Hall 9.0 that launched at this year’s Heimtextil will continue in 2026.

Hall 8.0 & 9.1 will be the home for country pavilions and international high-volume producers of bedding, duvets and pillows, bed linen, bathroom textiles, kitchen and table linens, throws and cushions.

Hall 9.0 will feature bedding, duvet covers and pillows, bed linen, bathroom textiles, textiles for the kitchen and table, throws and cushions, mattresses and bedding systems.

Hall 10 will reopen next year and will house many manufacturers that had previously been located in Hall 6.

Halls 10.1 and 10.3 will feature international high-volume producers of decorative and furniture fabrics, decorative cushions, curtains, carpets and sun protection systems. Hall 10.2 exhibitors also offer decorative and furniture fabrics, decorative cushions, curtains, carpets and sun protection systems, though not necessarily at high volume.

The new center for high-quality textile and non-textile interior design, as well as decorative and furniture fabrics, will be located in Halls 3.0, 3.1 and 4.1.

Hall 3.0 will house Interior Design Concepts: Window, Wall & Floor. This will include  wallpaper and digital printing, textile editors, curtains and floor coverings, as well as sun protection.

The Halls 3.1 and 4.1 will host an international range of decorative and upholstery fabrics, contract textiles, imitation leathers, outdoor textiles as well as fibers and yarns. The Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Library will also be located in Hall 3.1.

“Heimtextil 2025 was characterized by increased internationality and demand,” said Olaf Schmidt, VP of Textiles & Textile Technologies. “In 2026, we are using this strong starting position to align the range even more closely with the needs of all trade fair participants by strategically selecting and combining relevant product groups – and thus to leverage further growth potential.”

Heimtextil 2026 will take place from Jan. 13-16.
