Mike Fitzharris has been named president of the QVC US Brand & chief operating officer for Qurate Retail Group. He will lead content production and broadcast for QVC US and HSN, along with Quarte’s operations, people and technology.

Ryan McKelvey, president of Cornerstone Brands, continues to lead Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill and Grandin Road. Aidan O’Meara, president of Qurate Retail Group International, continues to lead the company’s retail operations outside of the U.S.

The company is recruiting a chief growth officer to lead all U.S. social, streaming, digital for qvc.com and hsn.com, new business development and platform distribution.

As part of the restructuring, Qurate will close HSN’s long-time campus in St. Petersburg, Fla., where is was founded in 1977. Operations will relocate to corporate headquarters in West Chester, Penn. The move is designed to allow QVC and HSN to work more efficiently and build new capabilities faster, according to David Rawlinson II, Qurate’s president and CEO.

“As we focus on our growth strategy to lean further into social and streaming, we are redefining who we are as a company and the role we play for our customers,” he said.

Moving forward, Qurate Retail Group is building a next-generation content engine that can quickly capture content to deploy on social, streaming and more for both HSN and QVC. HSN will continue to operate its TV channels (HSN and HSN2) and digital properties (HSN.com and the HSN mobile app).

“The HSN brand will continue to be an integral part of Qurate Retail Group as we activate our growth strategy and position the company for sustained success moving forward,” said Bowe.
