This New Two-Week Trip Takes You on a Megayacht Cruise to a Mediterranean Villa or Alps Chalet

Burgess wants to help you explore land and sea in the lap of luxury.

The superyacht specialist has teamed up with hospitality brand Ultima Collection to create a new travel experience that combines a private megayacht charter with a luxury hotel stay.

Burgess has spent 50 years delivering exceptional moments at sea,” Burgess CMO Tim Davis said in a statement. “Our partnership with Ultima Collection allows us to extend that level of luxury and personalization on land, offering clients a seamless journey across two extraordinary realms of travel.”

The 14-day Ultima Collection x Burgess itinerary includes seven nights aboard the 235-foot Kogo, followed by seven nights in one of Ultima Collection’s most exclusive properties in the Mediterranean or the Alps. The group has private estates and hotels across Europe.

“Our villas and chalets have often been described as superyachts on land for their design, privacy, and service,” adds Ultima Collection CCO Sven Flory.

The adventure starts aboard Kogo. Delivered in 2006, the 235-footer was the first yacht from the commercial French shipyard Alstom Marine. The cruiser, which was named in Robb Report’s Best of the Best awards in 2007, showcases a sleek exterior by Tim Heywood and a Zen-inspired interior by Terence Disdale. Fresh from a full refit in 2025, the vessel features a large, light-filled salon, a fully equipped spa and gym, an expansive sundeck with a Jacuzzi, and a spacious beach club. It can accommodate up to 14 seafarers, with a huge primary suite and six double cabins. It also has space for 21 crew who will ensure your comfort at sea.

Guests can lounge about on the plush exterior decks or make use of the impressive toy collection, including wave runners, Seabobs, and an eFoil. You could also explore hidden coves, go for a dive, or enjoy a dinner along the coast.

After seven nights at sea, guests will head to one of Ultima Collection’s signature estates. You could opt for a sun-soaked locale, such as the Ultima Corfu on the cliffs of Greece or Le Grand Jardin Cannes on the private island of Île Sainte-Marguerite off the coast of the French Riviera. You could also choose an alpine escape, like Ultima Megève in the French Alps or Ultima Crans-Montana in Switzerland. Each destination promises high-touch service, private wellness facilities, beautifully appointed interiors, and panoramic views.
