To celebrate the fifth season premiere of Law & Order: Organized Crime, streaming on Peacock, Chris stopped by BuzzFeed to play with puppies and answer some of our burning questions.

In 2006, Chris received his first Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Season 7, Episode 4, titled “Ripped.” This episode focuses on his character, Detective Stabler, as he grapples with his anger while investigating a murder case involving a high school student.
