New JustGiving Features & Updates: April 2025 Release Notes

We’ve started 2025 with a bang. Game-changing new features and updates are here to help your charity raise more money! Here’s what’s new on JustGiving.

Fundraising Heroes and Achievement Badges

We’re all about celebrating the impact fundraisers make for charity. The new Fundraising Heroes Boards and Achievement Badges help UK charity fundraisers get engaged, track their fundraising activity progress, and showcase their impact!

Non-event fundraisers can see their fundraising progress for charity alongside other fundraisers. If fundraisers are raising money in an event with 200 or more fundraisers on JustGiving, they’ll show up on the board specific to that Event.

Fundraisers can also collect overall or event-specific digital badges when they reach milestones along their fundraising journey.

Note – fundraisers with In Memory pages are excluded from Fundraising Heroes and Event boards. Fundraisers can opt out from being included in Fundraising Heroes and event boards at any time.

Refreshed page layouts

Fundraising preferences change, and we change with them – especially when it brings your mission to more people!

After some testing and keep the fundraising experience modern and fresh, Campaign Pages, Fundraising Pages, and Team Pages have a new layout – which is already leading to more shares.

  • The page’s title is now at the top, so visitors see what it’s about straight away.
  • The page’s owner, team, and activity are restyled to make learning about the fundraiser even easier.
  • The page totaliser now displays your fundraising total, target, and supports in a more optimised and compact layout.

Sort by Top Donations on Team Pages

People raise more money when they fundraise with friends: JustGiving Team Pages raise 36% more for charity on average! Now, anyone can visit any JustGiving Team Page and sort by Top Donations to see the highest donation amounts across the entire team in one click.

Apple Pay available on 3rd-party browsers

Apple Pay is one of the world’s most popular digital wallets. And we’re making it even easier for donors to give to your charity with Apple Pay, regardless of their browser or device. Now, donors using iPhone can pay with Apple Pay on any mobile or desktop browser, paying securely by scanning a code.

Offline itemised donations

When fundraisers talk, we listen. One of our most requested features is here: now fundraisers can choose to add individual donations they get offline (including the donor’s name), straight to their Fundraising Page!

This means that, even if someone donates offline, their name and donation amount will show alongside online donors in the Supporters list. And as usual, the offline amount for the page will be updated and displayed in your fundraising page report.

Bilingual receipts available in Canada

Merci pour votre don! Donors in Canada will now receive bilingual English/French PDF receipts every time they donate to a Canadian nonprofit for an even better JustGiving experience.

Thank-you page optimisations

So much can go into the decision to give, and we love learning why people donate. To inspire even more giving, we’re testing a couple new options on the thank-you page people see after donating.

When someone donates, we’ll ask them what motivated that donation (answers optional). If it’s a cause close to their heart, we’ll show them how to start a fundraiser and raise even more money. If they tell us they’re supporting a friend or family member, we’ll tell them how sharing their page can help reach more people.
