You’re about to see a lot more blue in São Paulo.
The famed American jeweler has just opened a flagship store in , its first in the region and one of only a few worldwide. The brand-new space is housed within the luxury shopping center Iguatemi São Paulo, where Tiffany & Co. first started selling products in the country over 20 years ago.
The location takes design cues from architect Peter Marino’s revamp of the brand’s N.Y.C. flagship, now known as which opened its doors in April 2023. You can see neutral hues and materials reminiscent of throughout the new flagship’s nearly 4,400-square-foot interior, which spans two floors. Of course, the store also showcases its share of Brazilian flair, thanks to works from artists such as João Carlos Galvão and furniture from designer Humberto Campana.
Those local elements extend to the store’s exterior, too. São Paulo architecture firm Metro Arquitetos pays homage to the country’s flora by using custom glass tubes, crafted in Germany and finished in Brazil, to create a nature-inspired facade.
Elsewhere within the store, you’ll find Brazil’s only dedicated space to buy Tiffany & Co. watches. If other accessories are more your speed, check out the high-jewelry space, housed in a private salon, where you can discover the brand’s glittery offerings surrounded by a custom wallpaper from Brazilian artist Vik Muniz. And for those looking to pop the question, the new locale has an All About Love section dedicated to the jeweler’s engagement rings.
“As one of Latin America’s most iconic shopping destinations, Iguatemi São Paulo continually redefines the luxury retail experience,” Cristina Betts, CEO of Iguatemi, said in a statement. “Welcoming Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store reinforces our mission to bring the world’s most esteemed brands to Brazilian consumers, while celebrating the vibrancy of our culture.”
The Iguatemi São Paulo flagship punctuates a prolific year for Tiffany. The brand hosted a pop-up at the U.S. Open, teamed up with for a pearl-themed collection, and released its latest to rave reviews. Its Star Urchin necklace, meanwhile, was named in Robb Report‘s annual Best of the Best awards.
Whether the new flagship will be worthy of accolades remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: It’ll be a must-visit on any trip to São Paulo.
